About the IAIM
I deliver the comprehensive curriculum of The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). This longest standing worldwide organisation is dedicated to promoting nurturing touch and communication through massage.
About the IAIM baby massage course
Weekly classes lasting 60 -90 mins. over 4 consecutive weeks. Suitable for infants from birth to 1 year old and all parents/primary care givers.
The IAIM massage programme is well respected, well researched and endorsed to be a high quality parent education programme.
The course draws from both Indian & Swedish massage traditions, incorporating principles from yoga & reflexology. The curriculum covers touch, massage strokes (full body and a colic routine), movement, relaxation, interaction & communication and adjusting techniques to use as your baby grows into childhood and beyond.

My One to One approach in classes
I specialise in providing private one to one classes in the comfort of my "Safe Haven" Therapy Suite. This is an opportunity for you to receive, not only my undivided attention throughout the course, but also to share any anxieties you may be experiencing since giving birth. Or perhaps you and/or your baby is more sensitive and so you need that extra support that is difficult to give in a group setting.
Only you massage your baby. I instruct by demonstrating on a doll. Full body massage is taught gradually, by introducing a new body part each week, over 4 weeks. Massage strokes are reviewed each week & handouts given for home practice. During classes babies can be babies, so if class times coincide with sleeping or feeding, you can observe or practice on a doll in the class.

Price includes everything you need for the course: massage oil, weekly detailed handouts on strokes, parent handbook and certificate of achievement.
Private One to One Baby Massage Courses
The entire 4 week course costs £320 per family (so if one family has more than one baby, you only pay once).
Payable in advance.
You will also receive a surprise gift of wellbeing worth £10 (from your baby) on completion of the course.

My location
Consultations by appointment only, with address given on booking. Appointments take place in my tranquil home-based therapy suite, comprising of private consultation room and therapy room with adjoining dressing room and private toilet facilities.
Situated in the Bedfordshire village of Totternhoe, about 2.5 miles from Dunstable; it is an easy drive from Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring and about 35 mins drive from Watford. Nearest major roads are M1 and A5.
Parking is available immediately out front. If you have limited mobility, please be aware there are steps down to the property with a handrail. The therapy suite is on the same ground floor level.
